Micro-Sailboat
Here is 'Micro' ready to start the Dinghy Cruising Association rally held on the River Deben, Essex, England, on the weekend 30th June/1st July, 2001.

This next picture shows her well reefed and tramping along to windward. Note the wake. When she gets in the 'groove' she really goes!

If the wind is gusty the sails have to be played to get the best out of her.

As the windward bilge keel is out of the water, its submerged counterpart works to minimize leeway. Heeled like this she needs the weight of the crew on the side deck to keep her from capsizing.

The luff of the jib should have been tightened, but she's working comfortably into the wind. For wind strengths of Beaufort four and above, she could really do with a smaller foresail, or jib roller reefing.
