Micro-Sailboat
This photo was taken in the middle of March, 2001. Thereafter, the weather gradually warmed up, but there was a good deal of rain which slowed down the process of painting the interior. The deck was not fitted until six coats of paint had been applied.

These next two pictures were taken at the beginning of May, 2001. They show the hatch frames, rowlock blocks, bow warp fairleads and tabernacle all fitted. Next came the exterior painting.

This picture taken on 28th May, 2001, shows the first upper coat on the hull bottom. Before that, three coatings of Pink Metallic Primer and one under coat of International Paint had been applied.

Pictures of the nearly completed boat, including rig can be viewed by going to: Gallery 5 but if you would like to see pictures of the Galley Box, which doubles up as the rowing thwart and mobile seat, visit Galley Box .
