Navigator

Navigator reaching

Navigator Draigg - close reaching on a breezy day - one reef in the main and really tramping along in 20+ knots of wind.

Navigator sailing fast

The well spread out yawl rig enables the boat to be balanced on any point of sail. The photo was taken on the Waitemata harbour, Auckland, New Zealand - mid winter weather 20+ knots southwesterly and the Navigator dinghy gave us a really good afternoon's sailing.

Waiata

"Waiata" - Navigator number 108. Judy Yeoman and Mike Brokie are out cruising and ready for the next leg of the voyage.

Navigator's interior

Navigator's interior from aft forward; there is lots of built in buoyancy and closed in stowage. The hole in the foredeck is an anchor well and the area under the foredeck will be closed off by a watertight hatch.

Navigator's cockpit

Navigator's accommodation - This boat has a pair of plywood panels that fill the footwell and make a queen sized double bed. The wide side decks keep her dry inside and are comfortable for "sitting out" on a breezy day when you're having fun.
