She is reefed
to cope with a stiff breeze offshore and she comes in for
the beach. You can see the sprit boom and yard of the sprit
boomed standing lugsail.
Here she is
before setting off for a weekend on Lake Rotoiti in the
centre of New Zealand's North Island. A highlight of
cruising here are the hot springs across the western shore
of the lake.
A nearly
finished Houdini. That bold bow is just on a metre high, but
the boat's extreme beam and sheer are all in proportion and
she can look both cute and capable.
