Here are two photos of Caleb being paddled. Now that the paddles have been lenghthened, I am able to paddle the canoe at about 3 knots in smooth water without too much effort.
I think Caleb would be good as a general paddling canoe and be suitable for touring. She has loads of space for the usual camping gear. Her dry areas in the bow and stern could also be used to good effect for storing those things that need to be kept dry - providing the in-built buoyancy is not compromised.
